After quite a few hours in the hide in October, it's not a surprise that sparrowhawks are my most photographed subject lately. Some people say "don't you get fed up with these raptors?" Well, no! That's my honest answer. Every day with my hawks is exiting. I might get to see a different behavior from these quick hunters, or a totally different light. Or maybe I can capture a sucessful hunt. After a couple of weeks with a flu, I just can't wait to spend a whole day in the hide again.
But what about other kind of naturephotos? As the days get shorter we get to see beautiful light during sunrise and sunsets. Here in the high north, although I live in the southernmost part of Norway, in November, December, January and February the sunrise and sunset occurs not in the middle of the night. And that's one of the great things about winter.
So driving to and from work can be a good way to watch nature at it's finest and yes, I usually bring my camera. So today I will post a few landscape photos. They are snapshots, but I like them anyway.
So between the visits to the hawk-hide, I will keep trying to capture the beauty I see here on the southern tip of Norway.

Hallo, Leiv Arne og Lasse.
Takk for hyggelige kommentarer. Og i morgen tidlig blir det det et lite besøk i skjulet. Kanskje med besøk av haukene også? Jeg ønsker dere begge ei fin uke. Willy
